At present, Kingsoft Office 2007 offers two kinds of Autosave.

1, Backup when an incorrect operation as been done.

When editing a document Kingsoft Office 2007 will check any modified documents and save them when windows closes the program due to program error or program/windows updates. Kingsoft Office will save these files in the backup folder and the next time you start the program these file will be visible in the backup management task pane.

2, Backing up files before saving.

When saving a file, Kingsoft Office 2007 will check whether this file exists on the disk. If it does, Kingsoft Office 2007 will copy the file on the disk to the backup folder, it then modifies your file. If the file is saved on the disk successfully, Kingsoft will delete the file in the backup folder. If it failed in saving the file on the disk, it will copy the file in the backup folder to the original place and delete the file under backup folder.
